Mark guides the firm’s strategic direction and oversees investment and portfolio management activities within the company. With 30 years of experience in construction management, entrepreneurship, and investing, his expertise plays a key role in decision making. In addition to founding Lakeside Investment Group, Mark is the Founder and CEO of the OpenRoad family of companies.
What drives Mark most is the trust others place in him—an honor he values deeply. He thrives on the hunt for high-potential assets, finding energy in the process of evaluating opportunities and building something lasting through strong relationships and thoughtful decisions.
Vice President
Randy directs commercial operations while focusing on acquisitions and relationships. With 40 years of experience in construction and property management, he has been pivotal in numerous real estate transactions. Prior to his involvement in Lakeside Investment Group, Randy has been an impactful member in the community as a business owner and investor.
At Lakeside, Randy finds fulfillment in working closely with tenants, solving problems on the ground, and making business decisions that add long-term value to each property. His practical mindset, steady support, and deep care for the work make him one of Lakeside’s strongest foundations.
Managing Director
Carter actively manages the operations and portfolio for the company, focusing on new investment opportunities within the firm. In his early 20s, he gained experience by starting his own real estate business, where he concentrated on residential value-add projects. Within the first two years, he successfully completed over 25 transactions.
At Lakeside, Carter is energized by the pursuit of new opportunities and the relationships they create—believing that collaboration, growth, and mutual success are at the heart of great investing.
